Jamie-Leigh did a family portrait session and we couldn't have been more pleased. We were looking for specific posed shots and at the last minute we all started playing around with different ideas and came up with some really fun, candid shots. It was such a quick session I didn't know how much we'd get, but we had so many great shots to choose from. JL is so relaxed, light-hearted, fun and easy-going that the whole experience was a great experience from start to finish.

Her live and portrait music photography is incredible. At live shows she's in and out quickly without the artists or audience noticing her presence much at all. The photos she took of Square Peg (my partner's band) actually look like Annie Leibovitz did the shoot. I can't stress enough how good these are. After years of photo sessions she's easily in the top three best photographers that have taken photos of my partner. She's a force and she's only getting better. One shot from this session we used as Gord's Juno's profile photo. It was published on-line, on billboards, used in all Juno's promo and at the Juno's itself. We've actually talked about how that photo most likely made people want to vote for him more! For real. 

I would recommend Jamie-Leigh to anyone for basically any type of shoot. Her natural intuition, empathy and ability to read any room is what makes her the perfect photographer. She can connect and hold space for any situation and is so adaptable that she can roll with any unexpected changes or any problems that could possible come up. She's so incredibly calm and naturally good under pressure. She's a special human with an incredible gift.
